A Gorefield woman’s social media plea to find her eight stolen puppies worked after she was reunited with them at the weekend.
Suzi Hinton’s eight Staffordshire/Jack Russell cross puppies leapt back into her arms after they were stolen from a locked pen at around midnight on Thursday January 25.
Miss Hinton, who has had the puppies since they were born, said: “I feel relieved and so happy that I got them back. I’m so glad nothing happened to them and that I have been able to see them again.
“I never thought I’d see the puppies again.”
The day after the puppies were stolen, she said: “They broke the lock off the door of the pen where the puppies are kept. The door was open and all ruined when I looked late last night. It was deliberate.”
She added: “It would mean the absolute world to me to get them back. They mean so much to me and I’m worried sick about them.”
