THE finishing touches are being put together for the annual spectacular the Gorefield Show.

The show which is now in its 47th year, will be held tomorrow at The Playing Field, Wolf Lane, Gorefield.

It is a fantastic event which attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the region, and one of the main highlights is the heavy horse show which starts at 9.30am.

The majestic beasts take centre stage and are a delight and wonder to watch. But the there is so much more to the show which is a combination of pony events along with displays, stalls and fun entertainment.

There will also be carriage driving, side and country shows and the biggest Giant Slide in the UK and a huge bouncy castle.

Also on the agenda will be vintage tractors and farm machinery, classic cars and motorbikes and an interactive falconry display.

The show will kick off at 8am and will have a host of events throughout the day including the Grand Parade at 2.30pm.

There will also be swing boats, dog show and athletic competitions.

And of course there will be refreshments and a licensed bar.

Adults �3 children and OAP's �2. Car on the show field �6 (not including occupants)

*Disabled parking is provided for free on the field and there is a free car park for all opposite the showground.
