THE vice-chairman welcomed 43 members to the latest meeting. Birthday cards were given to Betty Gaye, Jean Puttock, Jean Hart and Jean Collins. Mr and Mrs Davies were guests for the day. Fred Quince recited one of his poems and tombola was played. A special prize was won by Alan Carter. Members were told the annual meeting would be on February 1. The afternoon closed with the club song.
