Thomas Clarkson Academy student Sophie Jackson received an early Christmas present on a school trip to see dance act Diversity.
The Year 8 student was among a group of students taken to see their latest tour at Nottingham and found a golden ticket in her programme telling her she had won a day with Diversity in January.
Sophie said: “I didn’t know what it was at first then, when I found out, I was amazed. It said I had won an exclusive workshop to meet and train with Diversity. I will be taking a friend with me to their dance studios in London.”
TCA’s Head of Expressive Arts Lisa Tarsitano said: “She is an incredibly lucky young lady and was the envy of the concert.
“It was absolutely inspiring. Diversity’s motto is dream, believe, achieve and we have all taken this back to TCA with us.”
