WITH their schools out because of the snow, youngsters across Fenland have wasted little time getting outside to build snowmen and go sledging.

Within hours of schools announcing they were closed, teenagers were out in West End Park, in March, making the most of their new-found free time.

But with the snow also came a white blanketing along the River Nene and in March town centre, providing us with postcard-perfect scenes like those captured by our photographer Peter Upton.
