YOUNGSTERS from tots to teens across Fenland pulled out all the stops to celebrate World book Day.
Schools in March and Wisbech and the villages were filled with pupils and staff dressed as their favourite characters from Harry Potter to Snow White and Long John Silver to Cinderella.
They all received 1 book tokens thanks to the generosity of National Book Tokens and each year a number of special 1 books are published especially for youngsters to exchange their vouchers for.
The aim of last Thursday's special activities was to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and to help them buy a book of their own.
