THE children of Ramnoth Junior School in Wisbech showed great enterprise when they organised their own Christmas fair.
Each class was given a £25 budget to set up stalls and games - and the youngsters made a fantastic profit of £541.
"I am really delighted with the outcome, the event was organised by the school council," said head teacher Sylvia Stronach.
"The children made a variety of items for sale, including door hangers, yule logs and lavender bags. There was a variety of games, and Santa's grotto.
"The children worked very hard, and they will now decide how the money should be spent, to improve their outside play area.
