BUDDING artists took advantage of the half-term school holidays to creative when a workshop was held at Parson Drove Village Hall on Monday.
Artist John Wiltshire inspired the youngsters with some amazing specimens from the collections of the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences and the Museum of Zoology.
Drawings were made of the museums' objects in a community sketchbook which will be displayed at the Museum of Zoology in February, next to Charles Darwin's own drawings and collections.
The young artists also made their own bugs and creatures.
The event was organised by Vital Communities, which celebrates all art forms and cultures across Cambridgeshire, and was free of charge.
