TWO thousand children from 14 Fenland schools enjoyed a look at cultures from across the world at a day-long festival.
Bangra dancers, Samba dancers, Polish dancers, storytelling, circus skills, maypole dancing and country dancing were some of the many attractions for pupils at St Peter's Junior School in Wisbech.
Friday's multi-cultural festival was opened by the Bishop of Huntingdon, the Rt Rev David Thomson.
Pupils that attended the event then paraded banners to highlight different cultures, before walking around St Peter's School field and enjoying various workshops and performances.
It was the third time the festival, organised by the Wisbech Schools Project, took place.
Judith Skelton, headteacher of St Peter's, said: "It is a big event for the schools to look at a way of continuing to promote community cohesion.
"Everyone had the most fantastic day.
