Hundreds of children packed into St Peter’s Church in Wisbech yesterday for a Christingle service.
Children and staff from The Federation of Nene and Ramnoth Schools (Little Owls Nursery, Nene Infant School and Ramnoth School) were joined by their families and the Mayor and Mayoress of Wisbech, Michael and Jane Hill.
Pupils made Christingles for the service and a collection was held for a children’s charity.
Head teacher Karen Crawley said: “It was ideal to get the whole school community together. There are 500 children in the federation so it was great to have them all in the same place to celebrate Christmas.”
