The next generation of Eddie Redmayne’s and Keira Knightley’s took part in drama workshops at the Angles Theatre over the half term holidays.
As part of a new initiative, 30 children, split into two age groups (ages 5-8 and 9-12), created and performed a play each day. Proud parents came to watch the performances at the auditorium.
Angles alumni Billy Garner and Lucy Groves ran the workshops.
Miss Garner, who led the younger group, said: “I am exhausted, but it was really worthwhile and such good fun.”
At the end of the week, one parent said: “Thank you for what you’ve done for my child. He is normally so shy and keeps himself to himself. I never thought he could do what he’s done, in public, or that he could act.”
