ANGLIA was in celebration mood on Saturday as the electronic component distributor hosted its 10th annual family fun day.

The event at its Wisbech headquarters brought together staff and families from across the country and recognised the hard work of the Anglia team throughout the past year.

The day long entertainment for the 300 members of staff and their families featured a wide variety of activities including a surf simulator, laser game and a climbing wall.

For youngsters there were bouncy castles, a soft play area and teacup rides. For older visitors there were office tours, a barbecue and a demonstration by local fire fighters.

Bill Ingram, Anglia's founder and president, said: "The team has achieved great success in the past year, a result of shear determination and effort, and the family fun day is our small way of saying thank you.

"This type of event has a good influence on staff morale by providing an opportunity for our employees and their families to meet and mix in a relaxed and fun way and see the working environment.
