ABOUT 300 people helped raise about £500 for Macmillan Cancer Relief when Wisbech-based TNT Logistics held a fun day.

Highlight of the event, at the Leverington Sports and Social Club on Sunday, involved 11 teams, including a Polish team from the Nestle Purina factory in Wisbech, contest a five-a-side tournament. Eventual winners were Wisbech-based distribution group, Pallet Network Anglia.

Other attractions included a clairvoyant, a cake stall which raised £200, a bouncy castle, live music from Clone and a barbecue.
