FOURTEEN Fenland schools have closed today after last night's heavy snow falls and the Met Office is forecasting more severe weather.
Alderman Jacobs Primary, Sir Harry Smith Community College, Thomas Clarkson Community College, Kingsfied Primary, Orchard Park Primary, Park Lane Primary, All Saints Primary, Benwick Primary, Townley Primary, Cromwell Community College, Meadowgate School, Orchards Primary, St Peter's Junior School and Glebelands School have all closed today.
They are among the 110 schools that have closed in Cambridgeshire.
The Met Office has said that between five and 15cm of snow was observed across East Anglia this morning.
Further heavy snow showers are forecast for the region today.
The Met Office added that cold weather through the weekend will see wintry conditions continue, with overnight frost and widespread ice on untreated roads.
