Four members of the Wisbech & District Talking Newspaper charity have been presented with long service certificates.
John Frisby (who was not at the meeting) and Ann Shippey were presented with 25 year certificates and Madeleine Johnson and Peter Fewster received 20 year certificates.
At the group’s annual general meeting, thanks were also given for donations from the Wisbech & Walsoken Sick Poor Charity, Wisbech Lions, Wisbech Round Table, Gorefield Bowls Club, ASDA Foundation, Scientific Lodge of Cambridge Freemasons and various individuals.
Fourteen people attended the AGM, which was held at St. Peter & St. Paul Parish Church in Wisbech.
Next year’s meeting will be held on October 19.
