The Wisbech and District Tenants and Residents Association inducted former mayor, Councillor David Hodgson, as life president this week.
His wife, former lady mayoress Judy, was presented with flowers in thanks and recognition of their support of the association over the years and during his time as mayor.
The presentation was made by association member Lily Lack.
At the same meeting, retiring chairman Tony Roughton received a certificate of gratitude for his years of service. Mr Roughton organised holidays and outings for and on behalf of the association.
He also introduced and will continue to run the association’s quiz afternoons.
The association meet every second Monday of the month at Onyx Court from 10am.
