A fish and chip shop has raised more than £500 for Wisbech Lions.
The Jolly Fryer, of North End, Wisbech, invited its customers to buy a draw envelope with the prospect of winning free meals in their restaurant. Three winners shared a total of eight free dinners.
In two years, the chippy has raised more than £1,000 for the Lions.
Steven Jarvis, joint owner of the Jolly Fryer, said: “We were delighted to help Wisbech Lions Club. The project went very well and our generous customers were very supportive. We look forward to doing it again.”
