FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a pregnant horse which got stuck in the mud of a Fenland ditch on Saturday.
A crew from Wisbech and a rescue vehicle from Huntingdon attended the incident at Goredike Bank, Gorefield, at around 12:45pm.
Firefighters used a teleporter to lift the large pregnant horse out of the ditch, where she had been stranded in mud and ice.
The horse was taken to the vets, where the extent of her injuries are unknown.
