FIREFIGHTERS have today tackled a blaze involving gas canisters at a garage in a west Norfolk village.
The call to the garage workshop in Wildfields Road, Clenchwarton, near King’s Lynn, was raised just after 11.30am and four crews from King’s Lynn and Sandringham were called out.
A spokesman for Norfolk Fire Service said there were LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) canisters at the garage.
The fire was brought under control at 12.40pm and nobody is thought to have been hurt. Firefighters remain at the scene cooling the canisters down.
