A NEW Christmas tree was presented to a March woman by Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, following a campaign quiz run by the Cambs Times/Wisbech Standard.
This month we ran an interactive quiz on our website to help the fire service launch its support of the Fire Kills campaign, Don't Drown in Toxic Smoke.
The prize for one lucky person taking part in the quiz was a new 6ft ready-lit Christmas tree - and that winner was Kay Dedman, of Henson Road, March.
Community safety officer Howard Newton, from Wisbech fire station, visited Mrs Dedman on Friday to deliver and set up the new tree, as well as carry out a quick home fire safety check.
