FIRE fighters had to abandon their vehicles and travel on foot to get to the scene of a bonfire.

Restricted access to the blaze meant a crew had to use an aqua pack to extinguish the flames in Church End, Leverington.

The fire had started accidentally at 6.34pm on Wednesday, July 7.
