THE Ferry Project has received a donation of vegetable plants to create a garden at the newly-opened Octavia View in Wisbech.
Farmers Rob and Elaine Ground donated the plants for the project as they believed it would be a good opportunity and activity for the residents.
The patch which will provide life skills and home-grown vegetables for evening meals.
Chan Abraham, Chairman of Ferry Project, said: “The kind gift two people wanting to make a difference combined with the opportunity provided to homeless is a great example of the community working together to achieve an excellent outcome.”
