THE 16th annual road run by the Wisbech and District Historic Vehicle Club will be held on Sunday August 8.

The event is expected to involve scores of classic vehicles and will leave from the Somers Road Car Park in Wisbech at 9.30pm and return back at around 1.30pm.

The route will cover a number of towns including Spalding, March, Market Deeping and Peterborough.

When the vehicles return to the car park, there will then be a static display until 4pm.

The event is in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance and other local charities.

During the 16 years of the road runs more than £12,000 has been raised for charities.

The event will include an array of vehicles such as buses, motorbikes and classic cars.
