A primary school has been forced to close for a “deep clean” following reports of mass “pupil sickness”.

The primary school in West Walton is set to re-open tomorrow (Thursday January 18).

A Norfolk County Council official said: “The school will be closed on Wednesday January 17 due to high incident of pupil illness.

“The school will be deep cleaned prior to pupils return on Thursday January 18 at the usual times.

“This does not affect any other school in the Windmill Primary Federation.”
