A ROBBER with a Fenland connection and serving a sentence of nearly 10 years in jail has absconded from Hollesley Bay open prison.
Police are appealing for help in tracing Lee Cooper who left the prison between 11.30pm on Friday and 12.50am on Saturday.
The 27-year-old was serving nine years, nine months and 22 days for robbery.
Cooper is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of slim to medium build, with dark hair and brown eyes.
He has connections to the March area of Cambridgeshire.
If anyone sees Cooper they should phone the police with the details and not take any further action.
Anyone who may have seen him, or who may have information about where he is now, should call Suffolk Police on 01473 613500 or contact their nearest police station.
