Fenland man facing 28 porn charges committed to Cambridge Crown Court

A MAN facing 28 pornography charges – involving more than 200 indecent pictures of children -- has been committed for trial at Cambridge Crown Court.

Paul Reynolds, 61, faces three charges of possessing child pornography, 19 charges of making an indecent image of a child, and six charges of possessing extreme pornography involving animals including a horse, cow, dog, chicken, and donkey.

Child pornography is graded on the Copine scale, with level one being the lowest grade, and five the most explicit.

It is alleged that on various dates between November 2003 and August 2009, Reynolds made images both still and moving, at levels between one and five. He is accused of possessing more than 200 images between level one and five on August 3 2009.

Reynolds, of Chalk Road, Walpole St Peter, is due to be appear at the Cambridge court for a preliminary hearing on November 5. He has been given unconditional bail.
