Do you have a band but nowhere to play? Don't play but enjoy listening to music?
Fenland Arts is running a series of young bands sessions for anyone aged 12-21, whether beginner or seasoned performer or just keen to listen. Jammin' sessions will be held at Centre4 @QMC (Queen Mary Centre) in Wisbech between May and July
First session is during half-term on Thursday May 28 from 2- 4pm and following sessions are on Thursday evenings from 7 -9pm on: June 4, June 18, July 16, and July 30.
What's best, there will be no need to go to the bank for money, either for sessions or instruments.
All equipment and two charismatic leaders will be there, ready and waiting, and all sessions will be completely free.
All you will need to do is to turn up, with or without guitar. The Youth room will also be open.
"These Jammin' sessions are all about taking part and having fun" says Arts Officer Annaleena Money from Fenland Arts.
"We ran a series of sessions in March last winter and had a great time with it. I am incredibly pleased that Wisbech Town Council wants to offer young people the same opportunity here and has asked Fenland Arts to lead the project.
"I am also very grateful to the Locality Team for all their generous help in kind."
As icing on the cake Jammin' participants will have an opportunity to showcase their music in the Wisbech Youth Music Festival on Saturday August 1.
The day will feature local bands including The Brink, The 925's, The Journey, Satellite to Nowhere and The Bracket, with KLFM radio broadcasting from the festival.
The festival is organised by Wisbech Town Council in partnership with Wisbech Youth Council.

The jam series is run in partnership with the Wisbech Youth Work Team and Wisbech Youth Council, and it is supported by Wisbech Town Council.
