THE Peterborough & Fenland Green Party is asking how the people who have created the MPs' expenses problem can possibly be the right people to solve it.

Local Green County Council candidate Paul Carpenter said:: "The main parties are failing to demonstrate to the electorate that they have either the capacity or the will to reform a corrupting and rotten system.

"How can anybody who is part of the rotten system make an objective assessment and carry out the reforms needed to win back the trust of the British People when they have and will continue to gain from it?"
