FENLAND Flyers celebrated another successful year at the club's annual presentation award evening on Saturday.

Nine team members received achievement awards for their progress over the last 12 months, during the ceremony at Emneth Central Hall.

The club's Perennial Awards were also presented, rewarding the highest performing boys and girls at club and regional level.

There was also the overall Club Performer of the Year award, won this year by Sophie Hennells.

Coach Adele Broda praised the children for their hard work, determination, commitment and achievements.

Parents and coaches were also thanked for their support, as were businesses which donated raffle prizes to raise money for new equipment. They included The Baby Shop, Wisbech Reptile Centre, the Jolly Fryer, Nimax and Frank's the butchers.

This year saw the club settle into new surroundings at Marshland High School in West Walton and hold its first competition at the Hudson Leisure Centre in Wisbech.

The club was also awarded a Lottery grant for a fourth trampoline and training courses for the volunteer coaches.

Anyone interested in trampoline lessons at Fenland Flyers, either recreationally or competitively, should contact Adele on 07850 831825 or email adele@dmarj.wanadoo.co.uk.
