UPWELL Methodist Church was full on Sunday afternoon for the farewell service organised to say a special goodbye to the Rev Ann Bossingham.
The Rev Bossingham has been responsible for Upwell, Outwell, Lakesend and Manea during her seven years at Upwell.
Members of the Fens Circuit and those from other denominations who have worked with or met her took part in the service.
The service which included traditional and contemporary music was followed by a bring and share tea in the church hall. The Rev Bossingham was presented with an embroidered stole and a cheque by Pearl Wilcox, the senior steward of the Fens Circuit.
Sheis taking up a post at Market Deeping; her successor is the Rev David Ely who is moving from Yorkshire.
