Allan and Sue took the long trip up north, where they viewed the cattle and carcases.

Allan, said: "I want an animal with a good covering of fat; this is what gives meat the flavour and texture, my customers want good meat with flavour, not just tender beef, but good tasting beef.
"Hopefully by buying this animal and highlighting the importance of fat cover, we will be able to show farmers this is the type of animal that we want to breed, too lean cattle are not good for our trade, as we want the best for our customers."
The carcase was later graded as an E4L; on e of the finest grades of meat available and its weight was an impressive 381.8kg.
