The country's most exotic cats were on display last weekend at the 16th Championship event at Tydd St Giles Community Centre.

There were a total of 64 entries in the various classes including household cats as well as pedigrees.

Proud owners came from Kent, Nottinghamshire and Norwich with their cat companions.

The categories included exotic best in show, Persian best in show and best non-pedigree.

Show manager Barbara McEwen said: “The show went very well – it was a nice show, with the weather being kind to us.

“We had more entries than last year. Next year’s show is booked for January, with all the judges lined up too.”
