The car was deliberately set alight, say witnesses, near to the Tesco store in Cromwell Road.
One witness said: “There is CCTV facing the cars.”
The witness said; “No one was hurt but apparently the window was smashed through and I think that someone did it on purpose.”
Others discussing the fire on a local Facebook forum believe the car was one of three parked on a piece of land and all being advertised for sale.
Police and fire services are expected to release more details on Monday,
