Wisbech brewery Elgood’s has donated £1,500 to The Norfolk House, Tapping House.
Elgood’s donated the impressive sum after a year of fundraising which involved a Jazz in the Garden afternoon, craft fairs and its annual beer festival. The total was topped up by £200 last weekend thanks to a raffle and other competitions at its Christmas open weekend.
Rebekah Mills of the Norfolk Hospice, said: “We are extremely grateful to Elgood’s for their continued support over the years.
“It was a pleasure to be invited to the annual open weekend once again and to receive a cheque for £1,500 for their fundraising efforts this year. “The weekend, like all of the events organised by Elgood’s, is a wonderful event and it was lovely to see so many people there.”
The Norfolk House, which is based in King’s Lynn, offers support and advice to those suffering from life-shortening illnesses and their families.
