MEMBERS of Wisbech Art Club had the chance to sketch some of the world's best-known birds of prey at a painting day.
George Duncalf, of the Fenland Bird of Prey Rescue, visited the painting day, held at the Wisbech home of one of the club members on Saturday to give a talk about his work and a profile of his birds, which posed for the artists.
Mr Duncalf took seven birds with him, including an eagle owl, two snowy owls and a peregrine falcon.
Club member Carol Nicholls said: "They were going to move a lot and we just had to do quick sketches, but we took some photographs of the birds so we could work from them.
