TWO people have been charged with committing a burglary in Wisbech, stealing items worth £1,500.
Jason Robinson, 37, of Milner Road, Wisbech, and Lynda Vardon, 42, of Gunton Road, Norwich, are jointly charged with burgling a home at Mill Close in Wisbech between July 16 and 24 last year, stealing a large quantity of property included electrical equipment, personal documents, and various DVDs, CDs, video tapes and an electronic safe.
Robinson, who is also charged with possessing the class A drug methadone and handling stolen paperwork belonging to Sutton Bridge Town Council, failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Vardon denied the charge, and the case was adjourned for her to be committed to Cambridge Crown Court for trial.
