A driver had his car seized just three weeks after passing his test.
Traffic officers relieved the hatchback driver of his car keys whilst carrying out patrols in Wisbech yesterday (19). He was issued with a traffic offence report (TOR), meaning a trip to court.
One tweeted: “Now seizing this uninsured car stopped #wisbech whilst on border patrols. Driver passed his test 3 weeks ago! #reported #walking.”
Earlier, road casualty reduction officers joined the force-wide crackdown on speeding launched earlier this week.
Some 23 drivers were reported for speeding in West Norfolk, while another car was seized after officers found it was being driven without insurance.
