ABOUT £2,000 worth of damage was caused to a property in North Brink, Wisbech, when a drink driver ploughed into the premises in the middle of the night.
Police found Piotr Oremus standing near his Audi car at the scene of the accident, and he gave a breath test reading more than double the legal limit.
Fenland magistrates banned Oremus, 26, of Cannon Street, Wisbech, from driving for 20 months and fined him £167 with £55 costs.
He had previously admitted driving when over the alcohol limit on North Brink on June 11. He told police he had been driving too fast before the accident.
