A man who was more than twice the legal limit was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in Wisbech.
His vehicle was stopped on Sutton Road at 7.11pm last night (March 8) after it was seen “all over the road by officers,” said a police spokesman.
The driver failed the breath test, having given a roadside reading of 85, whereas the legal limit is 35.
“He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken to the Police Investigation Centre in King’s Lynn where an evidential breath test was carried out.
“Inquiries are ongoing in relation to this matter.”
