The Meekins family from Wisbech have had a lot to celebrate this month after Nick, the former mayor of Wisbech, and his eldest daughter, Alice, both graduated.
Alice Meekins achieved a 2.1 honours degree in English Literature from the University of Durham.
She is now working as an events and awards executive for the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising, in London.
Meanwhile, Nick graduated with a 2.1 joint honours degree in History and English Literature, from Anglia Ruskin University.
He is currently studying for the award in education and training, with the aim of entering the teaching profession.
