HUNDREDS of litres of diesel were siphoned from the fuel tanks of lorries at a Wisbech haulage yard.
The theft took place between 12.30pm on Sunday, September 23 and 3am next day at the Heathcliff Haulage Yard in Boleness Road.
About 450 litres of fuel was taken, valued at £3,200.
Pc Dave Macdonald said: "I would like to speak to anyone who noticed anything strange at the haulage yard over night on these dates. This is a lot of fuel and would have needed a vehicle to store it. It also would have taken time to siphon this much diesel..."
