There was huge delight this morning at Chatteris Cromwell Community College as students celebrated a successful batch of A-level results.
Principal Jed Roberts, who has retired from the role from September, and his team are over the moon with the results, which saw 63 per cent of pupils gaining A* to C grades.
He said: “Our congratulations go to all of our students whose hard work and commitment has brought about this continued success.
“The outcome also reflects a great deal of support from parents. We expect all of our students to be able to progress to universities of their choice across the country; many being the first in the family to do so, or into full time employment with further training.”
At AS-level the overall pass rate has risen from last year’s figure, particularly the percentage of students achieving the higher grades of A* to C.
