A local electrical business, Rollins Electrical, is working with young apprentices from the College of West Anglia.

CWA Wisbech has worked with Rollins, who are based in Sutton St. James, for the past seven years.

This year the technology department is working with six Rollins’ apprentices, who are training to become fully-qualified electricians.

David Rollins, the proprietor of Rollins Electrical who has 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, said: “We find it rewarding to employ electrical apprentices as they are the future of the industry and we are proud to say that we have started them on their chosen career path.

“The apprentices we have this year have made up a fifth of our workforce.”
