A “DANGEROUS” hedge is to be cut back after a complaint by a resident.
Former UKIP candidate Alan Lay said the hedge on the corner of Tinkers Drove and Lynn Road, Wisbech needed “immediate attention”.
“Forget about who pays, please get someone there with a hedge trimmer asap,” he wrote to Cambridgeshire County Council’s street scene team.
“I have worries that a child could be killed or injured because they are forced to walk into the road.”
Councillor Virginia Bucknor said the work would be undertaken by the Community Payback team shortly.
