Walpole Art and Craft Club used coffee and cake to raise an impressive £860 for charity.
The club raised the funds at its Macmillan Coffee Morning in September and handed over a cheque to Laurance Morlaas from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Macmillan Centre this week.
A spokesman said: “Thank you to all members who volunteered on the day and those who donated cakes, books, craft items and prizes for the raffle and tombola.
“And a big thank you goes to all those who attended and helped us raise so much money - we thank you all for your support.”
