Students ran, swam and cycled the distance from London to Paris and back to raise more than £500 for Cambs Fire and Rescue.
Seventy Uniformed Public Service students at College of West Anglia’s Isle Campus completed 576 miles in five hours, the distance between Marble Arch and the Arc de Triomphe, without leaving the Hudson Leisure Centre.
Staff member Adrian Kent said: “All the staff and students engaged this mammoth event showed a true display of determination that is in keeping with the service ethos and what we try and instil in the students.
“Every member of the team put in maximum effort to achieve this task and we the staff feel extremely proud of the students’ efforts.”
