CHRISTMAS came early for three shoppers who took part in a competition in the Horse Fair during the Christmas Market on December 18. Philip Brock, of Wisbech, won first prize of £100-worth of shopping vouchers. Jan Hunter, from Devon, claimed the second prize of £60-worth of vouchers and fourth prize, vouchers worth £40, went to Barbara Moyses. The Horse Fair management has revealed that during the day of the market more than 150 children visited Santa in his grotto, all receiving free goody bags.
