Children at Wisbech Day Nursery become firefighters for the day

Youngsters at the Wisbech Day Nursery were given the lowdown on fire safety as they took a trip to the town’s fire station.

The nursery’s holiday club were given a guided tour around the service’s Churchill Road base on July 25 and were even allowed to try on some of the firefighters’ kit.

And, just before leaving, the children were called into action to deal with an ‘emergency,’ and one youngster, Sam, closed the station’s big yellow door.
