Wisbech’s Elgood’s handed over £1,500 to a local hospice after their annual Christmas open weekend.
The Fenland brewery raised the cash for The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House with a raffle and competitions held over the course of the weekend.
Money was also raised at events held throughout the year, including the annual Jazz in the Garden afternoon which raised more than £500.
Lindsey Atkin of Tapping House said: “The Norfolk Hospice is extremely grateful to all the team at Elgood’s Brewery for their continued support.
“It is good to know that money raised locally will be put to use to help local patients and their families.”
Elgood’s employee, Sheila Wright, first came up with the idea of holding a raffle in support of the hospice.
Other prizes included a ham donated by Plater’s Family Butchers of Wisbech, beer donated by the Brewery and several items donated by the various Craft Stall holders.
Donations included booking fees from craft fairs in May and September, which raised £420, £200 from Elgood’s Beer Festival, as well as various individual donations from staff and visitors.
