CELEBRITY chef Nigella Lawson passed on some tasty tips to food and nutrition students at Wisbech Grammar School during a special literary lunch.
Topping and Company Booksellers of Ely staged the event which gave the seven sixth-form students the chance to come face-to-face with the domestic goddess.
She signed copies of her new book ‘Kitchen’ and also held a question and answer session after the lunch at St Mary’s Church, Ely.
Mrs Alison Sloan, head of food and nutrition at Wisbech Grammar School, said: “She was very genuine and she talked to us about how to go about writing a cookery book.
“We found that she was perfectly down to earth and laughed a lot and was very passionate about what she said.”
